Francesca Rolando, Executive Director

 15135889_1152419011508073_4163938319626557300_nFrancesca brings extensive managerial experience from the nonprofit sector, most recently as Executive Director for Candlelight Ranch, a nonprofit organization based in Austin serving special needs and at-risk youth.  Prior to Candlelight Ranch, she was Director of the American Field Service (AFS) Central Texas Region, overseeing all program activities across San Antonio and Austin.  Other previous experience includes serving as Volunteer Director for Ride On Center for Kids and as Account Executive/North American Sales Development for Sauro, Inc.

Francesca has more than 10 years of experience in volunteer recruitment, training and management, as well as a record of accomplishment in program management, board development, community engagement, financial planning and fundraising.  She has a BA in International Studies from Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina and a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.

Fran Eichorst, President

Fran EichorstIn addition to her work as President of the Jericho Road Dallas Board of Directors, Fran serves on the Dallas Women’s Foundation Advocacy Task Force, the University of Texas at Dallas Academic Bridge Program Advisory Council, the CNM Connect Advisory Council and as Co-Chair of the Dallas Regional Chamber Welcoming New Executives Committee.

Fran retired from Fidelity Investments where she was Vice President, Public Affairs, Texas Region, responsible for Texas local, state and federal government relations, community relations and external affairs. Prior to Fidelity, she held senior human resources positions with Beacon Eye Institute, Inc. and The Southland Corporation and was Personnel Officer for the City of Carbondale, IL. She began her career teaching high school in Chicago. Fran received her BA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Fran is a graduate of Leadership Dallas, Leadership North Texas and Leadership Texas and has served on the Executive Boards of the Dallas Regional Chamber, Fort Worth Chamber, North Texas Commission, and the Dallas Women’s Foundation, as Chair of the Center for Nonprofit Management and Co-Chair of the DFW Regional Workforce Leadership Council. She is a former member of the Texas Taxpayers and Research Association Board, University of North Texas College of Business Advisory Board, University of Texas at Dallas Development Board, North Texas Food Bank Hunger Center Advisory Council, Leadership Dallas Alumni Board and the Dallas Citizens Council.

Joe Sifferman, Secretary

Joe Sifferman portal pix 130xJoe Sifferman currently serves as the Secretary for Jericho Road Dallas and is a founding member of the organization.  In his professional life, Joe is a Director for PepsiCo in their Global Information Technology function.  Joe lives and works in Plano, Texas, and is an active member of the broader Dallas community, including his work with Jericho Road, leadership roles in his church, and general volunteering through organizations such as Junior Achievement, and coaching his daughters’ sports teams.  Joe is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and M.S. in Industrial Engineering.

Curtis Holmes, Treasurer

CurtisHolmesCurtis joined the Jericho Road Board as Vice President in 2015. He has served on several boards including non-profit organizations and technology companies. Most recently he served as a Trustee for Greenhill School including serving as Finance Chair for several years. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board at Centina Systems.

During his professional career, Curtis has served as CEO, President, and Director of Texert, an early stage enterprise risk management software start-up company. Prior to Texert, Curtis served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of MetaSolv Software prior to MetaSolv being acquired by Oracle Corporation. Previously, he served as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director. Curtis served in several executive and managerial capacities at Lucent Technologies and Bell Laboratories where he started his career.

Curtis earned an M.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University where he was recognized as a Distinguished College of Science Alumni and a B.S. in Computer Science, Summa Cum Laude, from Southern University.

Harold is the President and CEO of bionorthTX where he facilitates the development of a functional ecosystem that allows for the growth and success of life science companies in North Texas. Rebecca Wilson, Vice President

Rebecca is the founder and chief content strategist for Corner Booth Creative , LLC. She is an unabashed question-asker, information architecture evangelist, geek-level researcher, possibility see-er, and dot connector. She finds the right footings from which to build a story and connects it to the right audience. She’s also mildly obsessed with stickers, skiing, funky shoes, and letterpress cards.  She is an energetic community leader who has used her creativity to help several nonprofits including The Junior League of Collin County and North Texas Performing Arts.

Amy Lott, Director

Amy LottAmy maintains national and cross-border practices, working closely with clients to navigate business transactions, the formation and structure of entities, and general corporate legal matters as a corporate attorney for Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, L.L.P..

Her corporate and securities practice focuses on private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate finance, corporate governance, and complex contracting matters. In addition, Amy represents commercial airlines and aircraft owners in the acquisition and leasing of aircraft, contracting and operational matters, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory compliance.

Her clients include startups and established businesses in a variety of sectors, including real estate, banking, oil and gas, food and beverage, manufacturing, software, and gaming.

Cindy Jones-Nyland, Director

Cindy Jones-NylandCindy Jones-Nyland is the Chief Marketing Officer of Heifer International, a nonprofit, humanitarian organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and caring for the Earth.

She leads a global team responsible for raising funding for and elevating awareness of Heifer’s global work. She counts herself fortunate to have visited Heifer International projects in all corners of the world. It’s Cindy’s belief that people are far more alike than different, and that unity makes us all responsible for the well-being of others, and she is grateful to be living out her personal mission while employed at Heifer International.

She has a degree in marketing from Washburn University and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has previously worked with Lifeblue Media and Susan G. Komen for the Cure® as well as Oracle, MetaSolv Software and Southwestern Bell Corporation. She started her career in the telecommunications/technology sector and moved into the nonprofit arena over 10 years ago.

She and her sisters grew up on a farm in rural Kansas, but she has spent most of her professional life in Dallas, thus finding herself equally comfortable walking in wheat fields and navigating an urban rush-hour gridlock.

She and her husband are raising a firecracker daughter who surprises her parents daily with both her wisdom and youthful joy.

Rev. Dr. Daniel Kanter, Director

DanielKanterBelieving in Jericho Road, Daniel completed a solo bike ride from Dallas to Concord, MA, to raise money to launch it.

Dr. Kanter came to serve as Sabbatical Minister at First Unitarian Church in Dallas in 2001 and was called by the congregation to serve as Minister in 2003 and as Senior Minister in January 2009.

Dr. Daniel Chesney Kanter received a B. A. in psychology and anthropology from the University of Vermont in 1989, a Master of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry in 1998, and a Doctor of Ministry from Perkins School of Theology/SMU. He served on the Board of Trustees at Starr King for nine years, from 2001, the same year he came to serve The First Unitarian Church of Dallas. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas.

He lives in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas, has two children and a yellow Labrador. He and his wife Marianne enjoy travel, theatre, art, athletic endeavors, and friends.

Rev. Dr. Lyssa Jenkens, Director

Dr. Lyssa Jenkens is a Unitarian Universalist (UU) community minister affiliated with the UU Fellowship of Tyler, Texas.   As founder of Faithful Change, Lyssa’s ministry draws on her long career in economic and community development to facilitate personal, organizational and social change.

Currently, she is working with her wife, Trish Houck, to expand the North Dallas Shared Ministries’ English as a Second Language (ESL) program.  In addition to Jericho Road, Lyssa also serves on the boards of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee and KERA.

Pat Bostic, Director

Pat has more than 15 years’ experience in Program/Project Management, Government and External Affairs, Grants Management and Regulatory and Compliance Management.  The bulk of Ms. Bostic’s experience is derived from working in the public sector for organizations such as Dallas Housing Authority, Dallas County, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Board and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Ms. Bostic  recently completed work with the private sector engineering firm of Parsons Brinckerhoff on the California High Speed Rail Project.  Other notable projects in which she completed grant applications include DFW’s “Skylink” and Terminal “D” as well as facilitating and advocating a host of economic development projects as part of Congressman Burgess’ E/SE Fort Worth Economic Development Summit including the Texas Wesleyan University Master Plan and E. Rosedale Corridor Redevelopment, the E/SE Fort Worth Social Compact “Drilldown”, the Healthy Foods Financing Initiative, as well as Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects such as housing rehabilitation/reconstruction, public works projects that include bridge, water, sewer and street rehab/replacement, etc.

Patricia has served a member on various Boards and served in a number of volunteer capacities including All Church Home, Inc, Fort Worth McDonald YMCA,  State Steering Committee African American Outreach for the March of Dimes, “Kids Vision for Life” and as a reviewer for Youth Services America.  Ms. Bostic graduated from Texas A&M @ Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  During her down time she enjoys travel, shopping, good friends and watching foreign films with subtitles.
